Angelo A. Rossetti to serve as USTA CT President

USTA Connecticut has a new president, WRC's own Angelo A. Rossetti

Weston Racquet Club is proud to announce that WRC's own Director of Tennis, Angelo A. Rossetti, has been named President of the Connecticut State Association of USTA New England.

USTA New England, one of 17 regional sections across the country that comprise the United States Tennis Association (USTA), is a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting and developing the growth of tennis and increasing participation in the sport in New England by offering quality recreational and competitive programs for people of all ages and abilities.

Angelo's new position was made official January 20, when he was sworn into office during the USTA New England Board of Directors meeting in Marlborough, MA. He begins a three-year term, and will be eligible for re-election at the end of this tenure.

"I'm excited to be elected as President of USTA Connecticut. Since I've both lived in Connecticut and played tennis my whole life, I can add a unique perspective and value to the organization," said Rossetti.

In addition to his Director of Tennis duties at WRC, as the new CT president Angelo will be responsible for overseeing all USTA tennis programs in the state, supporting local and section initiatives and heading the Board of Directors.

Please take a moment to stop by and congratulate Angelo on this integral position within the USTA and our entire tennis community.

Congratulations Angelo!
