Julie Mazinova

Tennis Professional

Julie comes to WRC with certification for PTR age 11-17, PTR Ten and Under and is a USPTA Professional level accredited professional coach. She played number one singles and doubles at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, an NCAA Division 1 school, and graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations. She was named as the best female tennis player in the history of UL at Lafayette. Prior to college, Julie was raised in the Czech Republic where she won several tournaments. She was ranked 150 in the International Tennis Foundation.

Julie has over six years of teaching experience. She often says "I am passionate about making my students learn faster in a very enjoyable way." Her philosophy is that fundamentals are the key to a success. The proper technique will allow the player to have more control and accuracy, with more fluent strokes and less effort. On the court she focuses on agility, coordination and balance.

Julie was coached by her father who had a tremendous impact on her tennis. Stan Wawrinka and Simona Halep are her two favorite players. She works well with both adults and children and has a child of her own!
