Junior Tennis indoor Season 2024-2025
Tuesday, September 3, 2024 - Sunday, January 26th, 2025.
Ivan Lendl’s Hitting Hot Teaching System was created for youth tennis players ranging in age from 3 to 18 and is adapted to all levels of players. Children 12 and under participate in our IGNITE program which includes Sparks, Red, Orange, and Green Ball clinics.
Our FIRE tennis program for players 12 and over includes tennis clinics for beginners through high performance level players. Our IGNITE tennis program uses age and size appropriate equipment (ball, racquet, net and court size) for the best tennis skill development. WRC’s IGNITE and FIRE programs use stage and level appropriate partner-based activities to make tennis fun, keep players engaged and help players learn how to play and love the game of tennis! The EXCEL tennis program will utilize dynamic drilling and live-ball based games to reinforce proper tennis technique, improve shot selection, and increase confidence during game and match situations.
The indoor tennis season is divided into two 17-week sessions, Fall and Winter.
Session 1: Fall Indoor Season runs Tuesday, Sept 3, 2024 – January 26, 2025 (Excludes Thanksgiving Break, 11/28 - 12/1, and the Holiday Week, 12/24/24 – 1/1/25)
Session 2:
Winter Indoor Season runs Tuesday, January 27, 2025 – Monday, June 15, 2025
IGNiTE Development Levels | Ages 3-12
Sparks Players | Ages 3-4 Basic motor skills, movement, and coordination development in a fun setting.
Red Ball Players | Ages 5-8
Basic strokes, rallying, and love for the game on 36 ft court.
Orange Ball Players | Ages 9-10
Learn to serve, rally, play, and score points on a 60 ft court.
Green Ball Players | Ages 11-12
Improving strokes and tactical play on a 78 ft court.

EXCEL Junior Development Program | Ages 12+
The EXCEL program is the top of WRC’s Junior Tennis Pathway and is designed for dedicated juniors ages 12+ who are looking to take their game to the next level. These players should be playing multiple times per week and participating in USTA/UTR tournaments.

Payment Options:
Early Bird Registration - 5% or 10% savings
Members that choose this option will pay the total cost of 2024-2025 Fall and Winter sessions (39-weeks total), less 10% by May 31st, 2024.
Payment in full for one session will receive 5% discount.
Deposit - $500 deposit by August 1, 2024; Deposit payments are refundable until August 1, 2024. After August 1, 2024 deposits or deposit-equivalents are forfeited and non-transferable to other programs.
*Sibling Discount of 5% off the lower registration fee (not applicable to Early Bird payment)
Club Policies:
A complimentary evaluation is required for children new to the program who are aged nine or older.
No makeups for missed sessions except when management makes a decision to close the club.
